Hey all you blogger's out there, you see I'm on a Road Trip too Shu-Swap Lake right and I'm leaving too go home tomorrow and I know that I haven't typed you people for, what is it a month now. Well anyway my point is that I'm polluting the air on my way here and the way back; Cause it's, like a six hour drive. Of course we'll at least need too stop for gas once on the way there. We just celebrated my birthday; My Birthday's sometime in august. This is shu swap lake.

You know on the radio and T.V. when they have those car adds like last night I heard one that said "Toyota you can really help the environment" or something like that there not true. They just want you too buy them so they can make money they don't really care about the environment; So if your mom or dad does'nt have a car tell them to wait until Zap comes out.

These are the new kinds of cars and they are 100% electric. They are called Zap. If you want to help the environment, try making your mom or dad buy one of the Zap cars or when your 16. You could also go to the David Suzuki website and do the Nature Quiz. But if you don't want to do any of those you can do different suggestions or your own.

I say that we all raise money and pay off the logging companies. Then tell them that they can make artificial trees; And they can get old furniture that they've already made to make the trunks.

I think that when people use cars they should ask the gas person if they have car batteries, too put in your car; And that people should go around asking people too help them to stop people from smoking. Did you know that we're using so much energy that it's melting the ice in Arctic.

Dirty Air

Look at this picture that is what is happening too our air. That is all air pollution. Most of that reason is that people are buying big trucks and vans but really they're only one person; Like why don't they buy a smart car or something. Everyone who is reading this has deffiantly seen one person in a big van or truck.

Book Review

Today in school I read a book called I Can Help Clean Our Air; It is about how clean our air is and how dirty it is. This book is written by Viv Smith . This book says that our air has smoke and a bunch more things in it like fuel and bad stuff like that.

Second Solution

We could all start by planting new plants and trees. Then Vancouver and other countries would look even more beautiful; And there would be more oxygen; We could also go around to houses and ask for donations; Because we need to raise money to pay the logging companies so they will start cutting down the trees that are dead because they won't even give out oxygen. But we would have to ALL go around our neighborhood and ask for money; But if your parents are divorced go around both neiborhoods and ask for money; If you live in an eppartmeant go around your building.

One solution is that we could all tell the adults to tell other people to help make a world wide program about, Stopping People From Cutting Down Trees; We could all make a website about not cutting down trees and just making artificial trees. Or we could send a letter to the president saying "Mr. President this is from Vancouver; Could you please tell the logging companies to build artificial trees instead of cutting down the trees in our rain forest and forest, and please think about us and the other animals." Everyone who is reading this should all start making their own blog and website about making artificial trees or you could start writing a letter.

Polution

People who do drugs and cigarettes pollute the air we breathe. We suck in that oxygen. But we breathe out carbon dioxyde, our carbondioxyde has smoke in it. Trees suck in that smoke and that is partly the reason why trees are dying, so we have less oxygen than you think. So please encourage people to stop smoking and doing drugs.

Exploring The Issue

People who work for logging companies are cutting down too many trees, and trees give us oxygen, so were losing oxygen! So it's harder for us and other animals to breathe.

Questions:
1.What can we do to stop this problem?
2. How can we stop people from cutting down trees?
3. Who does this and why?
4. Why don't they care about oxygen?

I will start by exploring question #1.
